馆际互借 (ILL) is a free service available to current students, 教师, 工作人员, and members of the Ursuline Community. It provides access to 书 and audiovisual materials that are not available at the 图书馆.
Ursuline College 图书馆 will request items from other libraries on your behalf. The conditions of ILL service are established by the National 馆际互借 Code, 1980 (adopted by the American 图书馆 Association).
Before requesting an item, check the 图书馆目录 和 OhioLINK目录 to see if the item is available. Ask 图书馆 工作人员 for help with your 搜索.
To make a request, complete the form below. A separate form is needed for each item requested. Complete and accurate information is essential for us to process your request. Materials usually arrive in about ten days, however there may be circumstances at the lending library that delay filling the request. We will notify you by email when the materials arrive or you can call the Circulation Desk at 440 449 4202 or email ill@zerorejetpluvial.com to check on a request.
You must return ILL items directly to Ursuline College 图书馆. Loan periods for items are determined by the lending library but are typically 2-3 weeks. Renewals are not guaranteed, so contact ILL 工作人员 (ill@zerorejetpluvial.com) a few days before the due date to request a renewal. Overdue fines are $1.00 per day for students, 教师 and 工作人员. Books and AV 30 days overdue will be billed $125.00. This bill will be reduced to $50.00 if the item is returned in a timely manner.
Some materials are not available through 馆际互借, 比如珍本书籍, 易碎材料, 缩微胶片, audiovisual materials and reference 书. Materials borrowed from other libraries may not be placed on reserve. The lending library may specify that its materials only be used in the library or that no photocopies of the material be made. All materials are subject to recall at any time by the lending library.
本科 students may request up to two items per week. 研究生 students may request up to five items per week.
Use this form to request 书 or AV materials not available in the Ursuline图书馆 or OhioLINK Central Catalog. If you need assistance, please contact a reference librarian.
